I have been watching your current series Jedward Get Loose on ITV 2 with immense fasination.  You boys not only have fun but respect your fans no matter what gender they are.  I wish there were more bands like you.  I recently saw JlS's Oriste' being abusive to two people and was absolutely  shocked and disgusted by his behaviour in public.  I have watched you with your female fans  on television and the respect you both show them is amazing.  Your parents have done an excellent job raising you both.  What I would like to know is what would you do if you witnessed someone being insensitive to females?

You are so right, I met them last week, I was trying to meet JLS that day as a matter of fact, but they weren't there... Anyway John & Edward were amazing to us. We were wearing JLS hoodies and everything but John still came up to my sister & gave her a massive hug saying "Oh my god its JLS!" or something haha, and Edward hugged me too! They chatted to us for ages, about JLS & loads of other stuff, they asked us how old we were, had pictures with us, signed our autograph books! They even chose what poses to do in the pictures! They were seriously lovely, I've only become a fan since meeting them, they are so nice. I went to the JLS book signing in selfridges yesterday, I don't know if you've seen the articles but it was awful! We were pushed, shoved, almost crushed, got pushed in front of! my friend's mum rang the shop to complain, so we managed to get wristbands to meet them, but then they left half an hour early! I'm still so angry about it, I know John & Edward would never do that! Where was it you saw Oritse being rude? & you're right, I'm sure mummy & daddy Grimes are very proud of them :)

Thank you  all so much to everyone who have taken the time to respond to my comment on Jedward Forum site.  They have been appreciated and the contents noted.
 

Oriste was in South West London and he was really abusive to a very ill woman in a wheelchair. She was being pushed by a young girl and he had the cheek to put his arm around the girl.  He didn't ask or anything just doing it for a publicity stunt.  The girl didn't like it as she can't stand him.  When the woman objected you should have heard the verbal abuse that came out of his mouth.  It was disgusting!  To think he says he is so nice is a joke and to think young fans follow them.  His family have also been a nuscence to other people.  there are too many to mention as it would take years to re-tale the incidences.  I can divulge one.  Actually it is widely known ,that he also went round to a woman's house with his siblings and cause a great deal of vebal abuse and stress to the family.  the whole family are the same with no manners at all, so youj can tell they condone his outragious behaviour.  To cut a long story short, she called the police  as they would'nt go away from her house and paid him and his entire family a visit. He thinks he is a mega star since X-Factor and goes on about "I love my fans".  This is just is a smoke screen.  He looks down on other people and thinks he is the beesknees since "X-Factor.  It is amazing how fame gets to people's heads.  I bet his band members know what he has done and have turned a blind eye. I heard in the news that Simon Cowell gets contestant voicces twiked to make them sound good.  Bet he did that for them.  Don't you think so?
 
I am so sorry to hear what you and your friend went through when you went to their book signing the other day.  Totally disorganised!  Your  friend's mum was right to phone the store with her complains. If more people were as upfront as your friend's mum then it would have been organised in an orderly fashion.  Selfridges have a duty of care towards staff and customers within their store.  JLS should have had the decency also to stop the book signing and put their fans welfare first instead of "lining their pockets."  It's the fans that have helped them to get where they are but I  am afraid they choose to ignore this fact.  To leave an hour earlier than they should have  would make anyone really angry.  I would be too if I had been there.  You travelled to see them and they did that.  What a cheek!  I heard about it in the press and my first thought was the poor fans and was anyone seriously hurt?  Get your friend's mum to write to the manager in Selfridge's and write her concerns about that day and ask what they plan to do about it.  Don't let them rob you of your consumer rights. I agree with you Jedward would not have allowed that to happen.  They have hearts of gold.  They are geninue guys and treated you and your friend well after what happened to you earlier that day. I am glad that things worked out better for you all in the end.

I heard about the auto-tuning, I think it's only just started on the new series of the x factor, I don't think it was used before when JLS were one
Yes my friends mum was definitely right to complain, I'm so thankful to her. I think she is going to write to them, and so am I, so hopefully we'll hear something back.

We didn't meet John & Edward on the same day as the signing, It was the week before, but we thought JLS would be at the same hotel...
Anyway, yes they were really nice to us, I want to meet them again. After the JLS signing my thoughts were 'I could do with a hug from John & Edward right now!'

Thank you Natalie G for taking the time to reply.  I am glad I was able to offer some advice to you all regarding the Selfridge situation.  If your friend's mum doesn't recieve a reply within fourteen days write again.  They have to address your concerns

I have been watching the repeats of Jedward.  They are so down to earth and nothing like some of the airhead celebrities nowadays.  They were in today's Sunday Mirror.  Did you see it?   Their family must be so proud and are an inspiration to the youth of today.

Thank you so much for your response to my comment about Jedward.  They are truely lovely boys who are respectful to their fans and are not too busy to spend time with them.  Rare quality nowadays.

In today's Sunday Mirror ( 5.9.10) are a list of their up and comming concert dates.  Check it out! You never know your wish may come true and you could meet them.  I would like to meet them too.  The ones who have are lucky.
